Hello friends!
I have a fun post to share today!
This post is a simple reminder that you can use your sentiment to create an unique background.
I am partial to script word when it comes to background.
I am using Modern Poinsettia as my example.
What prompted me to create this card?
I happened to have a nice piece of stamped and white-embossed Poinsettia leftover from previous projects. It has been laying in my stash for a while.....
In the midst of doing other projects, the scripted background came to my mind!
DING---> create a text background with your existing stamps. Dig out the word dies and scripty stamps. They are perfect for stamping a background.
How to: locations, locations .....
start stamping the actual sentiment in the most prominent space first. This way, you can see the sentiment right away. After that, you can stamp around it to create a background.
Extra idea! ---> stamp your outline images with scripted sentiment!

In this case, I stamped "home for the holiday" right in the center, I then stamped the rest and fill up all the space that I had intended.
To finish it off, I stamped another sentiment "peace and love" in Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink
The background seem like random, but they really are carefully stamped and planned.
It's chaotically orderly.

I hope today's post prompted you to look at scripty word in a new way. The beautiful handwriting really makes this card a standout.... but of course, the poinsettia is the focal point. You can always use any stamped images for this design.

I love your light bulb moments! At first glance the background looked like a new Altenew washi tape. I'll begin looking through my stash for similar designs.
