Hello friends!
Yup, resistance is futile.
Ever since the Distress Oxide Sprays became available, I was VERY tempted and... resisted.
Finally, with the Pre-Black Friday Sale over Scrapbook.com, I went ahead and treated myself a few bottles of them. They arrived in a few days and that was awesome since I am in Canada. My shipping was more, but with the deals that I had, the price was fair.
The rest is history....

I am using Scarlet Season Die (Penny Black) for my examples with the Distress Oxide Sink Spray.
If you follow my blog for a while now, you know that I love to create my own watercolor paper.
So, before I went to bed, I sprayed the Distress Oxide mist all over the watercolor paper.

In order to keep the colors nice and bright and not turning into brown mess, I dabbed and even added some water mist to facilitate the mixing.
Next, I went to bed and had a good sleep.
The next morning, I woke up with a piece of gorgeous color paper!
I so wish that I could buy the entire set 1, 2 or 3 in the Distress Oxide Spray. But at the end, I decided to choose the colors that I can't simply live without.
I have listed the colors that I used at the end of this post.

Obviously, the Spray Mist are not a must for everyone. However, if you enjoy quick and easy project such as this, you definitely should consider getting a few and have lots of fun with them!
I particularity love to use them with large dies.
You can also use the Distress Oxide Spray as watercolor (just open the bottle and use the droplet to add colors!). Now I realize that I need MORE!

So pretty! You certainly have a way with colours!
These are so beautiful! :)
Ooooh you're tempting me for sure. So far I have resisted the distress craze, too. Who knows how much longer I'll last.
These are gorgeous, Virginia!!! I love the wc look on the frame of the petal die cuts, what a great look!! And yes, these colors are totally YOU!!!!! Lovely sentiment too!
Beautiful card! Love the flowers! I have not tried the sprays yet, but they look fun!
You've really mastered how to use these sprays. The poinsettias on your card are gorgeous and you layed them out perfectly.
Lovely cards!
Beautiful floral card Virginia, love your new spray colours (I'm still resisting our specials over here are nowhere near your deals)- so bright and happy and that die is fabulous, hugs Robyn
The poinsettias are lovely! The colors you used are perfect for the dies. I have not tried the Distress Sprays but after seeing your cards, I will have to try them.
Your poinsettias rock. Love the shades of blue. Hugz
