Hello friends!
I am sharing a simple colorful card!
I don't know about you, but with my short attention span, I just don't have the patience to do detailed coloring with markers. After all these years, I think I am finally realizing THAT! Mind you, I sill want to perfect my coloring skills with brushes and markers.

Today's card though is just me..... simple coloring with inks!
I have been enjoying using the Detail Blending Tools to do coloring with the Distress Oxide.
The bouquet images in this set are just the right size for coloring.

I took advantage of the "Stitches of Love" Rectangle Dies and did some inlaid die-cutting. The blue color on the rectangle frame was done with Distress Oxide. I love the details and contrast of layered rectangle dies.
Thank you for stopping by!

Sweet design with pretty coloring! Love your card!
lovely card - so perfect for Valentine's day!
Beatuful card, Virginia - and I love to blend ink on stamping also - so fun and immediate!!! Thanks for the tip on the small blending tools, I had forgotten about them until I read your post a couple days ago. Great tip!
So very pretty, Virginia. I might have to give this technique a try after seeing your card. Such a delight. Bev
This is simply beautiful, Virginia!
What a pretty card Virginia. I love that you can do so many different styles. This one is stunning.
Such lovely soft colouring. Such a gorgeous card <3
I love the framing and bouquet!
What a cute Valentine card! The soft colors make for lovely bouquet. The stacked
rectangular die cuts make a lovely frame. The blue outer frame really sets off the card nicely. The tiny hearts on the bouquet wrapping sure are a nice touch on the stamped image.
So pretty. I like this method of coloring.
Such a pretty card! I love those frames! :)
Really pretty, Virginia, and so natural!
Your method of colouring definitely works!
I think you perfected your coloring! This card is lovely!
A sweet bouquet of flowers. :)
Just love your bouquet, Virginia! Great with all the PB frames too!!
I'm not good with markers so I feel your pain. Think the way you manage to bring color to your designs without them is simply brilliant like this sweet, charming card. That blue frame certainly enhances the focal point.
Love your pretty Valentines card!
I like how you show that a simple design can be elevated with a bit of open coloring and dies.
so pretty
