Striking Background with Alcohol Ink

Hello friends!

I am happy to share a simple card that has a ton of colors and vibrancy!

I bought the special Ranger black cardstock a while ago and nearly forgot about it! I was rummaging through my stash and realized that I have this card stock that is specifically made for with Alcohol Pearl Ink Pearl. Time to get it out to play!

I started out with inking up with the Alcohol Pearl Ink on black card stock.

I was loving the striking effect that the shimmering effect and thought this new Penny Black "Snuggles" Stamp Set is perfect with it. 

The new Stitches of Frame Die Set comes with 5 various stitched frames! I am using the largest one for this card. This type of rectangle dies get me all the time.



I didn't fuss too much with coloring the polar bear and hedgie. I think the contrast of the background and focal point makes the card a stand-out.


I want to mention that I stumbled upon this We R Memory Marker Airbrush Tool 3 years ago. I used it for air-brushing with Copic /alcohol Markers purpose and it worked great. But now I also use it for spreading the alcohol ink. I highly recommend it as this tool works great for both purposes! The price is also reasonable for what it does. 

I totally enjoyed creating this striking background with Alcohol Pearls. If you are into alcohol inks, this is one thing that you need to try. All you need to get is this the specialty cardstock (listed below).
