Hello friends!
I don't know about you...
But for me, the best part of stamping is to get to "play" with them.
When I say "play", that means, trying out and combining stamps and see what works.
Today's card is one of those results after playing around the stamp set "Wreath Whimsy".
I had the idea of stamping the two birdies facing each other on the wreath....
So, I started out with stamping the wreath and then colored the flowers with the handy Detailing Blending Tool (Ranger). I love the ease of getting the Distress Oxide into the tiny spots.
It is great for ink-blending for smallest areas.
I then stamped the birdies and I decided to split the sentiment
.... and stamped the inside. It makes sense, right? 😉
After all that, I found that it is still lacking "something"
I used the largest rectangle piece from "Stitches of Love" and added the part of the die (with gold foil paper). I then added embellishments (glitter, sparkle...).
Ding--->combine , mix, split the stamp image and make them work for your unique design. Make great use of the large rectangular dies. Remember you can also use just part of it (like I did for the gold stripe element).
I hope today's post is interesting and helpful to you.
