Altenew Build-A-Flower: Canterbury Release Blog Hop + Giveaway-

Happy March, my friends!
It's time to share another exciting Altenew Build-A-Flower Canterbury Bells with you.
We are celebrating this month's Build-A-Flower with a blog hop!
http://shrsl.com/25804
I Googled it and I thought you might like to know about Canterbury Bells.

About Canterbury bells: the name comes from campanula meaning "little bells," an accurate term, since the flowers are bell-shaped. Although biennials, they can be grown to bloom the first year by sowing seeds indoors early.
Description of Canterbury bells: Plants grow 21/2 feet to 4 feet tall, with roughly the top two-thirds covered with pink, rose, lavender, blue, or white flowers. The plant shape is pyramidal and leaves are long and narrow.

If you arrive from the blog of the fabulous Mindy Eggen, you are in the right place.
If not, come and join the fun hop for ideas and inspiration.

Honestly, I had a blast stamping these bells! They may look tricky and intricate... but they were so easy to line up! I had no trouble with my own color-layering at all.

As you can see, I stamped TWO exactly the same color combo. I recommend you to stamp multiples when you did this type of stamping. All the ink colors I used are listed at the end of this post.

As for the background, I stamped Tartan Stamp Set in Silver Lake. The stripey background stamp really helped with grounding the images.

After die-cutting, I dusted the images with the Perfect Pearl Powder to give them some shine.

I then added splatter and enamel dots and this completed the card!

You answered my question and I didn't even have to ask!
I had wondered if the Tartan was not frilly enough for beautiful, feminine flowers.
You proved that it works perfectly!
