Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Iris & Watercolor Essential Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello, friends!
It's time to share another exciting Altenew Paint-A-Flower with you.
Along with this month's Paint-A-Flower Iris, Altenew is also releasing Watercolor Essential 12Pan Set.
https://shrsl.com/26chb

If you arrive from the talented LauraJane, you are in the right place.
If not, come and join the fun hop for ideas and inspiration.

For my project, I used the new A2 watercolor paper Loose Sheet and Watercolor Essential 12Pan Set. They are made with great quality!

I was super impressed with the watercolor paper especially. The color is in true white and the cardstock is heavy yet not bulky.

I mixed up the red and blue to create purple color for the iris. You will be amazed how easy it is to add colors and mix them.

I silver-embossed the outlines and that really goes well with the color palette that I did.
If you like to improve your watercoloring on a regular basis, the monthly plan is likely a very good idea for you. Obviously, Paint a Flower is not just for "painting", you can simply use any color medium that you desire! I have one more example coming up. Please stay tuned.

What a beautiful card, Virginia! My "go-to" white watercolor paper is the Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock - how does the Altenew cardstock compare??

Loved the start with the silver embossing. Makes for a much cleaner project, which is what I prefer. And then the artist in you comes out. The coloring was spot on. Not even in my imagination would my colors look like those. Thank you for showing me your finished artwork. You made this stamp set by Altenew just shine. Staying home, crafting, and staying safe. Take care :)
