Spellbinders Stamp of The Month

Hello friends!
http://shrsl.com/25aimhttp://shrsl.com/25aim
I am popping in with a card created with the latest Stamp of the Month from Spellbinders.
This set comes with many cute and useful sentiment. In today's post, I also suggest to try out a few things to jump start your creativity!

I used one of the sentiments and this is what I created. Combining with last month's Die of the Month from Spellbinders, I made a few circular die cut images.
SOM (Virginia) - Copy

As you can see, blue is such a gorgeous color!
I thought that the color scheme is perfect with the sentiment. I started out with a DIY paper that I created with Altenew Artist Watercolor set (linked at the end of this post).
May I also suggest that you try creating a piece of gradient watercolor swatch if you are not sure what to do with water-coloring....

ALSO, if you are ever stumped with creativity, try picking out a sentiment FIRST or the one that you'd like to use. You can then compose your design and colors based on the sentiment.

I also love the pretty small hearts, flowers and line images that come with this set.
Hope that you are having a fine day! It's always so wonderful to read your sweet comments and feedback.

Last but certainly not the least, Spellbinders offers....

I really like this card with the "bits and pieces"!
And choosing the sentiment first can be a
jumpstart for creativity! Good idea!

Virginia, this is another example of how my eyes have been opened by our card making community. I never would have 'loved' blue before - you all made me love it … this is absolutely stunning!

The lovely blue is perfect with the miss you sentiment. You are a master at putting small stamps together in a way that makes them look like they belong together!
