Hello friends!
I have a very organic and rustic card to share today.
It started out with a piece of alcohol-inked paper that I created.
At that time, I was not too impressed with my DIY paper.
However, once I got out the new Penny Black stamp "Country Charisma" and Die "Creative Curves", things started to look up.

I decided to keep part of the die cut pieces in tact because the color mix from the Alcohol Ink were beautiful. Thus, I only took part of the pieces off.
I then stamped and die cut the flower pieces from
"Country Charisma" with the Coordinating Die.
This set also comes with coordinating dies which I used in this card.

Lastly, I white-embossed the sentiment on black cardstock.

I love how this turned out. It truly was a very satisfying process. I highly encourage you to "just play" with your supplies and enjoy the process. It is relaxing and therapeutic.
I will be back with another post on how to stretch the Creative Curve Die.

The alcohol inked die cut is such a lovely background for your die cut flower! Leaving some of the pieces in the die cut background adds so much texture! Very pretty card.
Absolutely stunning! I need to get myself alcohol ink!
Pretty results and we all need relaxing projects.
Love the look you created by leaving some of the pieces in that bg die, Virginia - plus, I LOVE that die!!! The sentiments on black strips is a great look too!
This is so fun and lively. Just the the thing to bring a smile during this difficult time.
Alcohol inks are in my wishlist since long! Your inspirations tempt me to buy :)
