For my project, I decided to try something a little different. Instead of using the Rose die in the usual way, I turned the die into a "stamp". I was inspired by the recent video that our uber talented DT Lydia Evans.
I used one of the more detailed die from the Craft-a Flower Rose and stamped the background.
You can still see layered dies for the main rose. With this method, it really gives your die so much more "mileage"!! It is quite easy to use foam (any craft foam you can get your hands on should work) for your stamping. You can even re-use the foam!
Four simple ways to use your dies for craft-foam-stamping
1. die cut the foam ( I prefer white. ANY colors will work) that is about 3mm-4mm thick.
2. mount the foam onto the acrylic block/MISTI (with temporary adhesive)
3. test out on the paper with various colors and you can have multiple for each color
4. stamp away! I used all white card stock except the top layer. I also inked up the edges for definition.
I had tons of fun using dies as stamps. If you are intrigued, you should definitely give it a try!

I would never have thought of using gold for this rose. Guess that's why your a superior cardmaker. The bloom looks so gorgeous with that hint of color to compliment the gold.
