Altenew Build-A-Flower: Hawaiian Coral Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

 Happy November, my friends!

It's time to share another exciting Altenew Build-A-Flower with you.
We are celebrating this month's Build-A-Flower Hawaii Coral with a blog hop!

If you arrive from the blog of Dana Joy, you are in the right place.
If not, come and join the fun hop for ideas and inspiration.

What can I say? This Hawaii Coral is a BEAUTIFUL set. The flower has so many layers and yet it is so easy to stamp. I love that about Altenew's floral images.

I took a slight unconventional approach to stamp the image. I reached out to Altenew mixed Media ink. I stamped Frosty Pink, Coral and Ruby Red onto vellum.

photo #2 This can be done with clear-embossing with each color. I heat-embossed it very quickly without warping the vellum (it is do-able)!

Once the flower was stamped, I layered a piece of flower die cut underneath. I also added a piece of Nesting Frames Die Set and assembled my flower arrangement.

I find grey leaves and background really compliment my coral Hawaii on vellum. For the final touches, I added black splatter and enamel dots. I love how this card turned out!

Doing the embossing on vellum really added a lot of depth to your flower. And, your right, the grey leaves compliment the vivid color, perefectly.
