Spellbinders November Clubs Blog Hop

Hello friends!

I am excited to be part of the Spellbinders November Clubs Blog Hop.
If you are arriving from the blog of Sandra Nagel,
you are in the right place. If not, please join the hop for fun and inspiration.
You can find all details at Spellbinders Blog.

I am sharing two projects with this month's Large Die of the Month.

I know sewing/stitching is not everyone's cup of tea. Therefore, I made TWO versions with stitching and non-stitching option. Let's start with the one with stitching.

Season's Greetings

I am not an an avid sewer and I can manage basic stitching. This Large Die is beautifully designed and makes stitching fun and easy.

season's Greetings -001

The pattern paper and ephemera from the November Monthly Card Kit provides just the right amount of pop of colors and interest.

For the non-stitching version, I die cut three Christmas trees with the paper (from Card Kit) and decorated with the chipboard.

Since the dies are intricate, I actually miss knocking out one tiny piece of paper. Can you spot it?

This no-sewing version took little time to create. I am loving the Large Die as it offers so much value, fun and creativity.

I hope my two versions of Large Die with the sewing and non-sewing option inspire you.

How festive. AS you sew on your cards frequently, this kit was made for you and did you ever use it to it's best advantage.

trees adds a little something extra!

Love both of your sweet tree cards. Your cards show how flexible this die is and also so many of the other Spellbinders dies. I am partial to hand stitching, but love both cards!

Yes, Virginia, there IS a Santa Claus...(I'm sorry, I had to say that, you're the only Virginia I've known)...
Anyway, these are sweet, I tried to sew and mine were so ugly because the string bunched up and all...
Makes me want to try again.
TFS!

Both cards are great. Love the non standard colors too. The piece not knocked out, first tree near the top, correct? But I never would have noticed, if you hadn’t said something.

I like the dies that incorporate stitching. I did take a moment to play find the filled in section. After a bit, I did spot it in the middle tree.
