30 Day Coloring Challenge Blog Hop with Altenew

Hello friends!

Today I am joining the Altenew Design Team Members along with the awesome Kathy Racoosin for a special blog hop.

Kathy from The Daily Marker is the creator of  “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge”.The Challenge is a great way to gain confidence with your coloring and join in a community of positivity and coloring enthusiasts. The challenge is also a great way to get full use of your stamps and coloring mediums. When sharing, please use #The DailyMarker30Day, so Kathy can find your work.

You can find the full list of blog hop over Altenew(see here).

I am not gonna lie... I love new crayons, dies, paint, sprays, stencils.
However, when you can't have them all, it is totally do-able to stick with the most basic supplies.

I am proud to say that today's project is created with just that-- stamps and inks!

Hibiscus Bouquet  (Simon Says Stamp)
Hibiscus Bouquet (Altenew)

Virginia ( card for Kathy's hop)

My coloring is made possible with Altenew Inks and water. Yup, that's it. Altenew Inks are like no other. Not only the colors are formulated to match (not just lighter/darker share with the same color), they also work perfectly with water!

I swiped the Altenew Inks on the acrylic block and added a few droplets of water. I then proceeded to color the white-embossed images with various colors (all the inks are listed at the end of this post).

2017-02-061

I am quite surprised that how the colors are just as pretty as the ones that you would use with any watercolor or Zig markers. I also added some shine with the Zig Kuretake Starrry Color Palette.
