Hello friends!
Stencil, Spray and Emboss--that pretty much sum up how I created my card today.

That Halftone Stencil is easily my new favorite. I can't enough of it! With Altenew's Coloring Layering Inks, creating a gradient background can not be any easier.
The beauty about the Hydrangea Stamp is you can add little or more details as you go along. I first embossed and then I stamped in colors for the finer details. It looks amazing, but it really takes little effort. I hand draw the stem with Green Wink of Stella
and toned it down with the Clear Wink of Stella. I think I managed it ok!! And oh...I did use the Altenew Glimmer Sprays for my base before white-embossing. I love those sprays!

You can find all the Shimmer Sprays here and the latest here over Simon Says Stamp.
The latest release from Altenew are here! The latest Altenew March Inspiration is still going on, it's not too late to enter here.

beautiful card Virginia - love the colors you chose!
Your hydrangea is gorgeous, Virginia, sporting its blue/purple petals and set atop the oh-so-pretty background. Not sure if I've shared this with you before but: my grandmother had the greenest of thumbs, growing flower and vegetable gardens that had people stop in their tracks as they passed by, gazing in admiration and awe. Hydrangeas were one of her favourite flowers, but she didn't know how to pronounce it in English, as Polish was her native tongue. She called them her 'four seasons' flowers and that name has stuck with me since I was a little girl. When I see hydrangeas - whether the word or the flower itself - I'm transported back to memories of my grandmother...and wonderful memories they are!
Hugs~c
