Altenew Stencils & Ink Sprays Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends!
(warned: this is a photo-heavy post)
Welcome to Altenew March release Blog Hop!
If you have arrived from Yana Smakula's blog, you are at the right spot!
If not, come on and start hopping! There's MAJOR inspiration from this blog hop!

s
It's another exiting day as Altenew is releasing 7 stencils, 12 ink sprays, 13 colored card stock and 7 envelopes!  Let's get started, shall we?

My first project features the Layered Medallion Stencil (A and B).

as

Layer A and Layer B can work on its own as they have detailed and ornate designs.

Altenew_Envelope_Layered MedallionAB_VirginiaLu#1

However, when you put A & B together, you are guaranteed to have some SERIOUS stencil fun. I used all Altenew inks to create this colorful one layer.  It has so much depth and dimensions... it's hard to believe that you can create something this intricate from using just stencils!!

Altenew_Envelope_Layered MedallionAB_VirginiaLu#2

The sentiment from Amazing You is so sweet and is perfect for the floral goodness. I also stenciled the new Warm Sunshine Envelope. The card and envelope are perfectly matched!

Altenew_Envelope_Layered MedallionAB_VirginiaLu#3

With the Mini Ink Applicators, I used Warm & Cozy, Sea Shore, Rose Petal Oval, Summer Afternoon and Jet Black (listed at the end of the post). The color-layering from these 2 stencils is absolutely simply splendid!

My next project features Sketched Lines Stencil.
s

I thought this stencil can be used as "waves" and so, I stamped it with Be a Lighthouse .

Altenew_Sketched LinesStencil_VirginiaLu

I applied Cool Summer Blue to create the gradient.
The Sketched Lines Stencil makes it easy to do just that.

Altenew_Sketched LinesStencil_VirginiaLu#2

As for the "light" from the lighthouse? I used the stencil, too!
Adding a few streaks of Nuvo Crystal Drops provides the perfect touches.

My 3rd (and last) project features the new inks and sprays...
 s

and the Floral Drape Stencil.
s

The sprayed background with the Floral Drape Stencil is so fine!

Altenew_Sprays_Floral Shadowstencil_Cardstock_VirginiaLu#2

I white-embossed the flowers (Striped Flower Stamp & Die) on my Altenew sprayed inked paper. Yes, you can now create your own color paper with the new sprays....AND they will coordinate with the Altenew inks. See the background and flowers color ? They are all from the sprays!

The sprays that I used are: Frayed Leaf, Warm Sunshine, Forest Glades, Soft Lilac, Lavender Field (see the entire collection here). The card stock is also from one of the new release "Lavender Fields" .

Altenew_Sprays_FloralShadow_Cardstock_VirginiaLu

Do you love the inky result? For all my projects, I am using the new Altenew Tape Runner ( in pack of 3). These adhesives are the best quality that I have ever owned. Period.
