Penny Black Feature (Day 1)

Hello friends!

Here is my card for the Penny Black Guest Design Feature.


For this poinsettia, I wanted to show off the various colors of red and green.


Since the poinsettia is quite large, it was super easy to color each petal/leaf.


I decided to stamp the background with this awesome stamp set called "Joy of Peace".
 

I chose the classy sentiment from "Peaceful Season".

Design details: The "Poinsettia Cut Out" is a partial die and gives Poinsettia a realistic and stunning 3D look. When coloring the poinsettia with Distress Oxide, I used a piece of paper to cover each leaf. I stamped the pine bough from "Joy of Peace" to enhance the overall design. I think the Poinsettia will also look beautiful mixed in pink/green, yellow/green or any color combo that you desire.
