Penny Black Feature (Day 2 and 3)

 I am popping in with my Day 2 (yesterday) and Day 3 featured in Penny Black Blog.
There will be some design tips at the end of each card.

Birds on a Wreath is such a TWEET die!

 

 

 

Title: Tis' The Season

Supply lists with product number name: Peaceful Season (30-498), Birds on a Wreath (51-482), Script (40-470)

Design details: The "Birds on a Wreath" Die was lightly sponged and colored with Distress Oxide. I saved the negative part of the die and temporarily adhered it to card stock. I then stamped one of my favorite Penny Black Stamp "Script" over it. This card may be flat, but it is full of interest and layers!

I was too lazy to do masking, so I came up with this design. 😊

Flourishing Tree (#40-639), Stitched Stackers ( 51-416), Peaceful Season (30-498)

Design details: One layer is perfect for mailing. Do plan ahead when you think of your design and test it out until you are happy with it. Don't forget to use dies (such as Stitched Stackers) for dry-embossing. It is also fun to combine various stamp sets to create an unique design of your own. Look for stamps that are similar in scales and let your creativity flow!
