Hello friends!
I am popping in with a quick post.

I am sharing another take with Paint-a-Flower Poppy.
This time, I went for the metallic approach and use Altenew Metallic Watercolor.

happy birthday

I find that it is great to use Metallic watercolor along with the regular watercolor.
You will then get best of both world-not too metallic and grainy and yet you still have that softness from the watercolor.

I love the colouring on the poppy, sort of grungy but elegant at the same time. Beautifully showcased. :)

I like this different take on the coloring of the poppy. The framing around the the flower is nice.

Wish the shimmer showed up better in photos, don't you? Still this is so pretty. Love the colors and the that painted frame.
