Create with a Word Die

Hello friends!
This is my 2nd post of the day....

There are so many word dies out there. It is easy to come up with many ways to use them.
I find that one of the easiest ways is to use Washi Tape.

The key is to position the word die in between the paper and Washi tape when you do the die-cutting.
I am using the rectangle die from this set.

Once they are sold, you can't find them elsewhere!)

It is such an easy trick and I love the contrast of the white and glitter washi-paper.

As for the frame? I sponged the small flowers and leaves with Distress Oxide.
Again, the detailed die does so much, why mess with it?

For the final details, I added Nuvo Drops and tiny metallic sequins.
I hope that you like this card!

That flowery, frilly die cut is so well colored and I love it with the word diecut's treatment. Great idea to use the washi to make it sparkle.

Virginia, love your floral card! I went to Spellbinders site and I’m not sure I understand the club details. Does the 20. for large die of the month include all 4 of the shapes shown in your post? Thanks!

Hi Elaine,
Yes, indeed, the 4 dies that you see are included in the $20 monthly fee. Spellbinders encourage people to sign up the monthly club and that's why they keep the price reasonable--> http://shrsl.com/weso (click link for more info and shopping)
Hope this answers your questions.
