Technique Tuesday #5

Hello friends!
It may be late on Tuesday, but it is still Tuesday!
I am back to the series Technique Tuesday and am featuring this Stars on the Border Die
(As I write this post, Simon Says Stamp is out of stock at the moment.)

Have you ever used a border die on an angle?
Take a look at today's card and you must just want to try it, too!

This card is rather simple yet it is eye-catching thanks to the split glittery panel.

In fact, the dies does all the work and all you need to do is to die cut with a piece of white card stock. Then I adhered the white over the blue glitter paper. I then added silver stars to the mix and that's it!
time to sparkle

I love how the card stock and die work so beautifully together!

oh I like the idea of doing a border die on an angle. I have edge border dies (scallops, grass) but nothing like that one. This looks fun!

That blue glitter card made stepped up the simple design of this card. I will look into my border dies and try to angle it, too. Thank you for the inspiration!-Maria Giselle B.

I would not have thought to use the die at an angle. It is very effective and with the glitter paper it makes an awesome card. The added silver stars finish it off!

These twinkling stars are so beautiful against that lovely aqua. The way they dance across the card is fun.
