Virginia's Stencil Sunday #6

Hello friends!
It's time for another installment of Virginia's Stencil Sunday series!
This time I am sharing my first take with this gorgeous stencil.

just for you-001
When you first see stencils like this, you really will not have any ideas how it will turn out..
At least, that was how I felt.
just for you

Once I approached it like how I do with color-layering stamps, it. is. AMAZING!
The stencil comes with two-step stenciling. It is self-explanatory and easy to line up.
jsut for you

I find the key of using this stencil is layering, layering and more layering...
After much color-layering with the ink and stencil, I decided to add white Embossing Paste with one of the fine spots from the Splatter Stencil.
just for you (2)

Once I did all that, I realized that I wanted to stamp a bold sentiment "Just for You". I didn't want the sentiment attracting all the attentions from the stenciled design, so I kept it in two tone (grey and black).
just for you-002

I'm really glad about this particular Stencil Sunday. I own this stencil and have been a bit intimidated by it so it has never been used. After seeing the extraordinary results you've achieved, you've inspired me to give it a try. We'll see how it turns out. But in the meantime, I've had the pleasure of seeing your gorgeous card.
