Today is my 5th installment of Stencil Sunday!
I am happy to share a simple stenciled card from Poppy Bloom Stencil
Poppy Bloom Stencil from: ALTENEW
This stencil is super easy to work with as the composition of the poppy pretty much covers the entire card front. I decided to add extra text from the sentiment in this stamp set.
After applying ink over the stencil, I simply left the stencil on paper. I then stamped the sentiment over each section with the same color of the petals and leaves.
For the final finishes, I popped up the sentiment and added some silver strings underneath.
The text and sentiment are from Build-a-Flower Hibiscus set (see links below).
This has been a super busy weekend for me as I spent two fulls days in our largest Crafting event in my area. I taught a workshop and met a lot of people....My heart is full and happy.
I definitely can use some down time.

This card looks amazing love the text inside the stencilled flower. So effective and eye-catching. Of course, it's perfectly and subtley embellished with "Virginia touches".
Brilliant idea to add your sentiment as you did. I think that touch makes this stencil very interesting.
