Hello friends!
I am so inspired by the first snow here that I created another TWEET card with one of the new release from Penny Black. Here is the first one from my previous post.
This "Misty Melody" Cling Stamp may look simple, but it has delicate fine hand-drawn lines that makes any design look whimsical.
I love doing water-coloring as they are fairly risk-free and manageable. All you need to make sure is that you have the right card stock-use Bristol paper or any watercolor card stock will do.
The entire image and frame are all water-colored. I used quite a bit of gold because I really think it is underused in my watercolor set.
As you can tell, my branches have some heavy snow. I used the Marvey Snow Marker.
The Snow Maker has been around for a long time. I remember being fascinated by this marker when it was demonstrated by my local stamping store.
About Marvey Snow Marker: simply apply the white sticky liquid from the pen to the desired area and heat it with the heat tool. Poof..... snow appears just like the "popcorn-like" white snow!
I also love White Pico Embellisher. This is one white embellishment that I recommend. The nozzle makes it easy to control the flow and you can use as much/little as you like. Once dry, you are left with white glossy dots. It is awesome as "snow" or any white highlight.

Love the loose watercoloing on this one. This stamp lends itself to lots of techniques. This card looks frostier just like the woods behind your house.
Beautiful card! Love the snow!
So peaceful & beautiful, Virginia! I love Pico Embellisher & now I want to try using my white for snow!
Love both of your 'tweet' cards! Your watercoloring is so pretty!
Such a pretty card!! The snow adds a great touch to the watercoloring! :)
Love these sweet birds and how you added snow.
Wondering what glue you use on vellum? Love you cards!
Those bird cards are soo beautiful. Thanks for mentioning how you made the snow, I will try to purchase one for sure. The snow looks soo real and pretty.
