I have a super cute card to share today. As you may know that I don't post too many cutesy cards
However, it doesn't take too much work when the image does all the work!
Today's card is one of those.
I started out with creating an inky background with the Northern Light (photo Credit) in mind.
The focal point is going to be this cute bear and a hedge! How cool is that!?
This was what I came up with.....
Prior to creating today's project, I actually did not Google the Northern Light image until I am drafting this post. The Northern Light colors are absolutely striking!
I am so pleased that this card does seemingly capture the gorgeous Northern Light (by accident)!
Ding--->Alcohol-inked background can be overpowering. I find the best "trick" is keep dropping the Alcohol Solution to "move" the inks and dilute the colors as you go. Do not be alarmed when you have heavy inks pooled up. Just dab the area with paper towel lightly with Alcohol Solution.
For the bear and hedgie, I lightly colored it with the white metallic watercolor and kept it simple.
What a world of difference with just a few droplets of Alcohol Inks can make!

This stamp is my favorite from the PB holiday release and I was going to use it just as you did with a Northern Lights background. Yours is so wonderful, I may do it today.
