All About the Metal Dies!

 Hello friends!

I am popping in with a quick post about the dies. We all love how easy and fun to create with dies. 
Stand-alone dies are most versatile, such as Mid Century Frame Die.

Here I used it to highlight the sentiment and partially covered up the busy background.
I also love to change up the dies. Here I die cut it with Halftone Heart Die to create my own textured hearts. The textures of the heart came from Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die.

I am sharing a few samples of my favorite from the last few months' creations. Please know that it is impossible to list all my favorite dies from Altenew. This Mega You is absolutely gorgeous.

 I love using cover dies for dry-embossing. The Circle Quilt Cover Die is perfect for this.


I also love to use part of a large die for background. Here I used Mandala Die Set
to elevate the focal point (from Simply The best).
 
Last, but certainly not the least. It's the 3D Dies.
 The Rose Flurries 3D Dies comes with.... 27 pieces. That seems daunting, but the size of the rose die are the same and this makes it easy to layer. Once you know the sequences, you will not have any trouble lining them up.
