Altenew November 2019 Gradient Cardstock Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends!
Warning: heavy photo post
http://shrsl.com/1y1oz
Yay, it's the first ever Gradient Cardstock Release Blog Hop from Altenew!
In the past, I had been asked whether Altenew will have card stock just like the inks....
Well, it is finally here!

I am super excited to share three projects with you. I am using various dies to illustrate the benefit of using gradient card stock. These fabulous card stock really takes out the guesswork and make it fun for die-cutting! If you arrive from Altenew Scrapbook Blog, you are in the right place!

For details about this blog hop, please visit Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog

*All highlighted products are listed at the end of the post*

Feature products: Cherry Blossom Paper, Sea Shore Paper, Peony Dream 3D Die and Dotted Swirls Cover Die

Peony Dream was a dream to assemble with the Gradient Card Stock!

I die cut the Dotted Swirls Cover Die with the Parchment Paper (kraft) and die cut a circle. This really helped the focal point to stand out.

I used the bold thicker XO for the sentiment.  This card didn't take long to create!

Feature products: Red Cosmo Paper, Green Meadow Paper, Rose Flurries Die and Precious Peony (sentiment) and Crystal Frame Die

By following the guide on the package, I was able to assemble the roses very easily, especially with the help of gradient card stock/

The use of vellum and gold foil paper is particularly effective with intricate dies like Rose Flurries.

It was most satisfying to complete this card!

Featured product: Summer Afternoon Paper, Shades of Purple Paper, Polish Paper Cuts
and BAF Lavender (sentiment)

This card may look tedious, but it really is not. I die cut many pieces from various colors with the Polish Paper-cut Die.

I laid the die cut all out and started to create my own piece.

I love symmetrical look for the Polish Folk Art and that's what I went for.

You can totally create any pattern or form with dies and paper.
The more die cut pieces you have, the more intricate your designs can get. I die cut all of my pieces with Mini Blossom Machine because the paper fit perfectly into the die cut machine.
