ScrapFest 2018 ( a Recap)

Hello friends!
Scrapfest photo #2 - Copy

NEWS FLASH: this week's Technique Tuesday is postponed to next week!
Don't forget to check out yesterday's Altenew April Release Blog Hop-->HERE

As you may know, I have been super busy with the ScrapFest that took place in Kitchener, Ontario from April 13-14.  Before this event, I prepared for the workshop and spent two days there and am still recovering.... :)

Despite the crazy ice storm we had, I consider it a success! 😊

This was the card that I taught in the workshop.

The highlight of this event is that I got to meet some amazing people in my stamping life.

(Altenew CEO and Founder: Tasnim and Nabil, Michele Ferguson and Karen Dunbrook)

I had fun doing "Make and Take" with the attendees and everyone did a great job doing the color-layering stamping.

Thank you, Virginia, for sharing your photos. You 'make & take' .... such a lovely card. Such an excellent choice for introducing new craft loves to the artistry of Altenew's wonderful products. How wonderful to meet Tasnim and Nabil. But most of all, I can imagine your graciousness, friendly smile and encouragement made the day for those who attended.

The card you chose for your make and take is a stamping marvel. Something that the stampers could really get their teeth (or should I say ink) into. It is beautiful with all those colors and the strategic masking.
You look like you were having so much fun at the event. It's always wonderful to actually meet people in the flesh that you've corresponded with so long. Bet you were really busy, too, but looks as though you weathered the storm well. Rest up now, you deserve it.
