As you can see, I took a very bright and watercolor approach on this design. I started out with stamping both top and bottom images with the stamp-positioner MISTI.
I may have gotten a tad liberal with the watercolor. That is because I had too much fun with the ink-smooshing. I love using Watercolor Brush Markers for the instant coloring.
With a piece of acetate, you can mix in any colors as you wish ... just a squeeze of the watercolor markers.

Beautiful, Virginia - and as usual your touch of gold gives it that extra something!!!
Fabulous, Virginia! Love the double images and bright
colours, topped off with a touch of gold!
I love this approach, it feels so freehand and fun! I would have loved to see what Watercolor Brush Markers are all about, but the product links don't seem to be working. (I use Firefox)
Your technique here was so effective. The colors and spatter are perfect for these gorgeous florals.
I love the background and texture!
This feels very spontaneous and whimsical!

So very beautiful with the watercolor look of the floral images.
Absolutely stunning!
Love the loose watercolor look you got with the ink smooshing! The bright colors are such a lovely combination.
Wow, Virginia, this card is awesome! LOVE the bold colors and the ink smoothing is amazing. I must try this, although I fear I will end up with a muddy mess. The gold glitter strip is a nice touch, and the sentiments in this set are lovely. Thanks for always inspiring us.
Love, love, love this watercolor look!

Very pretty watercolor effect. I just started using acetate for my splatters, I really like the way it looks and you can place the splatters exactly where you need them.

This is gorgeous!
Fabulous card and love ink smooshing. Pretty colors, I like the boldness of the markers. I wish my markers would be as bright as these.
Creative, colorful and unique card design.
your card is so Cheerful and colorful. Ink smushing is my daughter and I's preferable technique.
Oh My! Such a fantastic colorful card, I love it!
Love the wonderfully bright happy card Virginia! Love the free artsy look! Thanks so much for the great inspiration! Stay safe! :)
I must agree with all the other comments how I love the flowers stamped in multicolors and smooshed into variety of colors, too. Your smooshing is more controlled than others I have seen; the colors are still separate, but filling the florals with all the colors! I think you maybe smooshed each color separately? I'd love to see your process.
Such a colorful, happy card. I really like this stamp set and your coloring technique.
Love the colorful effect of the technique you used. I can't wait to give this a try.
I like how you stamped the outline image in different colors. I am guessing you spritzed the colors on the acetate and then touched the stamp to it? This looks like one of those techniques where you make a dozen or so just because its fun.
I love how you stamped the images in different colors! So pretty!
What a fun and happy card! Love to smoosh too! Im very inspired!
