I am popping in to share my take with the latest release from Spellbinders. This Silver Bells Dimensional Doily Etched Die is super intricate and beautiful.
I kept the color scheme light and soft. The easy way to add a backing piece is using a heavier card stock. I used a heavy watercolor card stock and reinforced it with a piece of Washi tape.
Bonus--->the other way is to dry-emboss the image (so the tiny pieces will not fall off).
This way, you can easily adhere the top piece of die to the colored one.
For the silver bells, I added the silver/shine with Distress Spray (Pewter).
This spray bottle can be used for coloring. All you need is an used paint brush and you only need tiny bit to add that shine.
The best thing about using such intricate dies is not to fuss too much with it. Simple die cut and let it shine. I will be back with more inspirations with this delicate die set.
I am listing a few Spellbinders items that I will be featuring soon. Hope your weekend is FABULOUS!
