Hello friends!
Some of you commented before that you like how I am willing to share- good or bad projects. I am not shy about sharing projects that nearly have gone to the trash bin.
Today's post is one of those that made me think that there is no BAD crafting project. Sometimes things do not go our way (like most all things in life!), but you just have to make the best out of it.
To achieve this completely colored card, it does require several steps. I worked on the background first, and then the flowers.
The flowers turned out to be a bit streaky than I would have liked. But the color combo makes this a very striking card.
To compliment such a busy design, I chose Fancy Hugs Die and stacked two of them.
I also added some Faux Stitching with the Altenew Cally Lily Pens.

This is so beautiful!!! You make it look so simple and pick such gorgeous colors!! Love it!!
Beautifully rescued card. Awesome coloring of the embossed florals. Impressive way you've embellished the sentiment and all the special Virginia touches.
So beautiful! Good thing you did not trash it.
Wow! It really turned out to be a gorgeous card. I am not sure what you had in mind when you started, but it is really a striking card. I like the streaks myself! The colors are nice together and the sentiment is so pretty! I still have not tried that technique but need to as it really brings out the sentiment.
Very pretty colors, and I like the rose embossing folder. Also cute 2 toned hugs die adds a nice touch to the bold flowers. I don't see anything on this card to warrant throwing in the trash.
Pretty colors and I like the stitch marks.
Love that color combo and how you used 2 tones with the sentiment die!!!!!!
I'll have to try some inking with my embossing folders! Beautiful look!
I really like how the flowers turned out. Great touch for the embossing.
