I am popping in to share a scene card. This stamp "Wander" from Penny Black looks pretty simple, yet it ha some great possibilities if you will let your imagination run free!
I started out by stamping it in light colors such as Antique Linen (Distress Oxide or Distress Ink).
Once I have done that, I then determine each section and decide on the colors and details. The inspiration photo on the package is almost always very helpful.
I can not stress enough of using a stamp-positoner like MISTI. It allows you to stamp and correct lines as you go. To add interest to the design, I added a pop of color in red and orange to depict the sunset/sunrise. To me, it makes the card comes "alive"!
To make everything neat and tidy, I like to use rectangle dies such as Sewing Stackers Die. Die sets like this is worth the "investment". You do not ever need to measure your card stock and whatever image you create, you can simply just die cut it and it finishes beautifully.
