Combining TWO Large Background Stamps

Hello friends!

I am popping in with an interesting idea to share. This time, I am using two large background stamps.

Whaaaat!? You might ask...

"Why would you use two full size of large cling stamps together? What's the point of that?

My answer: "There is absolute no point in that. BUT to make an interesting and unique background, sometimes, it's just fun to change things up a bit AND why not? You have two lovely background stamps and you can't decide which ones to use....so , I'd say let's use both!"

When you see my card, it would help you visualize why it is a good idea to use both.

With the cute images from Dance in the Rain, we need some rainy type of background. Instead of using blue, I use partial blue and green colors. thinking of you -002

With the two different background, this card looks much more interesting in my opinion. I white-embossed the top part with Enlightened Cling Stamp.  I then stamped the bottom with Contemporary Cling Stamp.

Once I had done that, I inked up the background with more Distress Oxide and white Splatter.

The focal point was stamped and colored in Distress Oxide. I think this card is great for anyone and everyone.

What do you think? Do you like to two backgrounds on one? I had a blast creating this card and would look forward to combining large background stamps.

What amazing texture those two background stamps provided. The colors you've used are ideal for this technique, too. Those critters are so sweet standing in the pouring rain.
