Hello friends!
I have a fun summery post to share. This stamp Seashell was my starting point.
There are a few things that I did differently from the usual takes. Instead of black outlines, I stamped in Distress Oxide (Blueprint Sketch) and clear-embossed it .
Once the image was stamped in Blue Print Sketch, I took a piece of acetate and inked up the watercolor brushes and started "coloring".
This is your typical "ink-smooshing". I do watch out for the tiny droplets and use those to my advantage and colors the sea shells accordingly.
I think the water drops really add some wonderful effects to this beach-themed design.
I love this type of "coloring". It's loose, artsy and stress-free! You just give this a try if you have not done ink-smooshing before. Thanks for stopping by!
