Hello friends!
Today's post is about stretching a small outline stamp set. This stamp set called Flowing Lines is part of the promotion from Altenew. Please see the end of the post for details.

First, let's talk about using the stamp for the background. I built up the colors by using the BACKSIDE of the stamp and inked up the card stock.
Some of the area may not stamp that well because it is not designed to stamp this way. However, if you keep inking it up with ink-blending tools or stamp repeatedly with your Stamp-Positioner (such as MISTI)., it totally works!
I then inked up each area with a stronger shade of ink to make the print stand out. Tone-on-tone stamping is always a good thing and so easy to do.
Last but not the least, it is to stamp the image the way it is in black. I trimmed it and stamp the sentiment on the side and kept this design.
The sentiment is from Paint-a-flower Fashion Monger Dahlia. Love that set!
Good news! This stamp is free for two days with every Altenew order!

Love the way you did the different colors!
Very effective, love it!
I like this unique colorful background.
Nice to see ideas for the smaller sets. Great use on the sentiment area.
Very artsy design using that stamp! Fun colors too.
Great graphic card and love the colors!!!
This color blocking technique is really effective. Clever way to use the back of the stamp. And the over stamping adds so much texture and interest. Pairs nicely with the strong sentiment. Excellent non gender specific card.
What a great idea to ink up the back of the stamp, especially one with the rectangular shape. Sure seemed to work well for your card. The darker ink pattern looks great along with the more pale ink color. As was mentioned, it would make a great card for male or female recipients.
What a clever way to use this attractive stamp! Gorgeous layout!
You always amaze me with your ideas. Love this card.
