Yay, it's June Release Blog Hop from Altenew!
I am super excited to share some cards and home decor projects with you.

First up, it is my favorite stamp set from this release--> Sweet Peas!
I simply could not get enough of vellum and alcohol ink and had to try it out with Sweetest Peas.
Sweetest Peas Stamp & Die Bundle
I love the floating and dreamy look of the Sweetest Peas.
The Sweet Peas were embossed in Antique Silver EP TWICE on Altenew Transparent Vellum.
( this vellum is currently on sale!). You can see the slightly thicker silver-embossed lines!
For the background, I used Scalloped Builder Stencil and Wendy Vecchi white embossing paste.
Sweetest Peas comes with a matching die. I did fussy-cut the vellum image as it is rather easy to do.
To add interest to the design, I applied some splatter effect with Lavender Fields Spray Mist.
My next project is a super bright and colorful thank-you card.

I used Alcohol Inks to create a colorful background on Yupo Paper and then run the Moroccan Mosaic Cover Die through the die cut machine Spellbinders Platinum 6.
I made the die cut with the Mega Thanks Die and Altenew's Gold Foil Card Stock.
The entire sentiment covers the card front. Love that!
Next is this lovely and gorgeous stamp and die bundle called Cherished Memories.

This Cherished Memories Stamp and Die Bundle has BEAUTIFUL sentiment and intricate designs. Again, I relied on my two bff-- alcohol inks and vellum.
Moroccan Mosaic Stamp Set
The "Moroccan Mosaic Background Stamp" sets this off to a beautiful start....
I colored only tiny of the background with Altenew Artist Markers. I also applied a tiny bit of Watercolor Stroke Washi Tape at the bottom. It is seamless!
You can color it however you like it! This"Moroccan Mosaic Background Stamp" is such a cool background stamp, don't you think?
June 2018 Stand-alone Die Bundle
My 4rd (and last) project combines a few of the BEST in this release:
Party Banner Die, Mega Alphabet Die and Sweetest Peas Stamp
Who knew that home decor can be so easy and fun.
All you need is a pair of good scissors and right dies!
The design paper from Altenew Reflection Scrapbook Collection offer SO much with my little effort. I had a blast creating this wall display. I am going to use it for the upcoming family reunion celebration!
I created the sentiment with the thickers from the collection.
I love the fine edge details from the Party Banner Die.
"Live , Love, Laugh" seem to be perfect for our family reunion. The family members' age ranges from 4-month-old to 91-year-old!

Candace1221: you can emboss the image twice (or more) with the help of a stamp-positioner such as TH Stamp press or MISTI. (ink, heat-emboss-->ink, heat-emboss-->ink....and repeat). You should totally try it!

Thanks for your clarification on the embossing twice technique. I'm still asking about the alcohol ink coloring on the Sweet Peas. I saw your YouTube video of the alcohol ink on vellum, but your Sweet Peas looks more vibrant. Did you color from the backside as in your YouTube video? Can you prepare the vellum with the alcohol ink and then stamp/emboss on top of it?
Beautiful cards and LOVE the family reunion banner too! My favorite is the Sweetest Pea - love the silver embossing on vellum as it really highlights the fabulous line drawing of the sweet peas.

WOW Virginia, these are all so beautiful. I have to say your Sweetest Peas card is a stunner though. Your banner is so pretty as well. (My daughter makes and hangs banners for every and all occasions. You never go in her house when there isn't one hanging. LOL She would LOVE this one.)
My #1 fave from this release that I MUST have is the Perfectly Perfect stamp & die set but I can honestly say I have a long list...haha

Hands down my favorite is the card with the sweet peas. Sweet peas are my favorite flower. Since moving from Alberta to Ohio 25 years ago for work, I have had no success growing them. I think Ohio summers are too hot for sweet peas. Alberta was perfect for them. I am so glad Altenew has come out with this stamp set, and your card was stunning and elegant. I love the colors you chose with the silver embossing powder and the vellum.
Your sweet peas card is SO beautiful and delicate, but I really love your banner! It has the feel of scrapbook page, but in the out-of-the-box sort of way. This is something I would love to be able to hang in my home!

Wow! Your cards for the new release are gorgeous! The one that stands out for me is the sweet peas on the embossed vellum. The splatter and embossing paste background are such a lovely backdrop for your beautiful sweet peas.
All of your projects are great but my fav is the Sweetest Peas card!!! So pretty! Mt favorite product from the release is Leaf Canopy. I can't wait to play with it. I think it will be fun to use with so many coloring mediums and techniques!!!
