I am popping in with a quick post abut my 2nd take with the Dancing Deer.

I just love altenew's Watercolor Brush Markers. They give you instant colors and they are gorgeous!
With the silver outline, the colors really come though, isn't it?
I did embossing of the large snow flake and it is just a lovely accent on this design.
Lastly, here are the group photo of the two Dancing Deer!!

The silver outlined dancing deer makes such an elegant card!
Since you asked, my favorite Distress Ink color out of all the colors is the Festive Berries. I first discovered it in the container of Distress markers that I have and fell in love with it. I even bought a backup marker in that color. I then bought the regular ink pad and have been waiting for it to be one of the colors in the Distress oxide release.
Very excited to see what the oxide version looks like!
You're right that silver not only makes the deer stand out, it also makes that blue more vibrant. Beautiful.
