Hello friends!
I am not loving winter, but always enjoy creating wintery scenes.

Penny Black - Winter Solace
from: Scrapbook.com
The latest cling stamp "Winter Solace " I have is perfect for this.
You can stamp the image as is and it will look beautiful as a CAS card.
After all, this stamp has a very detailed scene and needs little embellishments.
With the Distress Oxide, I inked up the church and trees in Old Paper and various shades of green.
Once I did the inking, I then added brown onto the roof lines.
With a Water Brush Pen, I applied Espresso to the roof details and then stamp.
You can see the clear-embossing powder textures after the images were all inked. I added White Nuvo for the drifting snow on the roof.

In the end, I chose the sentiment from Peaceful Season as it is quite appropriate for the snowy scene.
Hope today's card gives you a first taste of beauty of winter! 😉

Beautiful and peaceful scene with this church.
The Winter Solace card is so peaceful and serene! The background resembles a real winter sky.
Great winter scene!
This is an interesting stamp. I like your color choices for the church, so realistic.
Beautiful winter scene!
Certainly gave me a hint of winter...I'm actually cold. But looking at this beautiful scene warms my heart.
