s
It's time to share another exciting Altenew Build-A-Flower with you!

It is a DIY floral creation in a box, so to speak!

This months is....
s
Flourishing Zinnia & Ink Bundle

You can find out about this plant here in Wikipedia. For all the details about this blog hop, please visit Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog

Let's get to the project....
Altenew-BAF-FlourishingZinnia-Virginia#3

The Zinnia image is certainly bold and beautiful and is perfect to take the center stage.
Altenew-BAF-FlourishingZinnia-Virginia#2

Once I inked with the Zinnia with Altenew Pocketful of Sunshine and Warm & Cozy.
I decided to do "Partial Die-cutting" as the larger size of the image is perfect for this technique!
Altenew-BAF-FlourishingZinnia-Virginia#1

Once I did that, I stamped the leaf in Fields of Green and gold-embossed the sentiment.

To compliment the stamped image, I used Feeling Dotty Stencil for the background and applied embossing paste.

The new Maple Washi Tape certain adds a huge doze of happiness to this entire design.
Are you loving it? I hope this card brings you a ray of sunshine as well.

Virginia, you card is amazing! That new zinnia stamp set is beautiful!
I love the colors of ink you used to showcase the zinnia....looks real!
I grew ten large pots of zinnias (from seed packets) this year in my back yard. My pots bloomed all summer and were beautiful with different colors and varieties of zinnias. I enjoyed watering them in the mornings seeing their color and the many butterflies visiting! As always, thank you for sharing your creative "art" with us. (Needless to say this stamp set is at the top of my want list!!!!) ;)

Happy October to you as well Virginia. Your card is so cheerful and happy, I love it! I always think the partial die-cutting looks very cool on cards and with the white panel against the kraft card it really makes the sunny zinnia pop. Great job, thanks for sharing it today and for the inspiration to try it myself. (mardy14@bellsouth.net)
