Fun ways to use Banner Dies and Washi Tape (& Winner Announcement)

Hello friends!
I am popping in with post about using

Party Banner Die Set
Party Banner Die Set

(The Altenew October Stamp Die release blog hop winner is at the end of this very post)

If you don't mind  the fussy cutting, the Washi Tape will be great for that.
I chose the wreath image I want and applied it to a piece of thin card stock (80 lb is good).

I fussy cut it out and it is GORGEOUS!

For Party Banner Die,  I applied  a strip of Painted Orchids Washi Tape
and then ran it through the die cut machine.

This extra step makes the design more cohesive and adds an extra element to the banner die.
I love that the banner dies has that beautiful edge details....just lovely!

The white-embossed sentiment (on black card stock) helps to draw the eyes....
Also, did you noticed the extra sparkle? The Gold Stickles is a good old stand-by!

happy hello

I tied it up with DMC Gold Strings and added some sequins. A happy card is born!

As always, I love all your cards and my fave of this bunch is the first one with the water colored potted plants and the washi tape “floor” - brilliant use for washi tape (I cannot stop collecting!).

Just beautiful...are your fingers sore from fussy cutting, though. I've hesitated to try this because my cutting looks icky but yours looks amazing.

Thank you, PP and Sue D , for your unconditional love/ support and comments!
Coni, I don’t do fussy cutting too often, so this is do-able. Try cutting smaller section first and see how you like it. Perhaps your Edward the Scissorhands are waiting to be discovered.

Your banner is lovely; however, my cutting skills leave much to be desired. Your 'hint' to apply washi tape on paper then cut makes a lot of sense to me.
